তাল গাছের চারা রোপন কর্মসূচির উদ্বোধন করা হয়েছে।
পহেলা আগস্ট মঙ্গলবার বিকেলে শোকের মাস উপলক্ষে উপজেলার রানাপাশা ইউনিয়নের রানাপাশা মাধ্যমিক বিদ্যালয় চত্বরে এই তালের বীচ রোপণ করে এই কর্মসূচির উদ্বোধন করেন নলছিটি রাইডার্স ক্লাব নামে একটি সামাজিক সংগঠন।
নলছিটি রাইডার্স ক্লাবের (NCR) সদস্য রাসেদ বলেন
‘তাল গাছ একদিকে যেমন বজ্রপাত থেকে রক্ষা করতে সহায়ক, অন্যদিকে পরিবেশের উষ্ণতা রোধেও এর গুরুত্ব অপরিসীম। এছাড়াও তালের রসে প্রচুর পরিমাণে ভিটামিন এ রয়েছে, যা থেকে সহজেই এই ভিটামিনের ঘাটতি পূরণ করা যেতে পারে।এ সময়ে উপস্থিত ছিলো রাইডারস ক্লাবের সদস্য নাজমুল হাসান মুন্না, রুমান মল্লিক, শাকিব ইসলাম ও রাতুল সহ স্থানীয় যুবকরা।
উল্লেখ্য নলছিটি রাইডার্স ক্লাব ২০২২ সালের ৩০ই ডিসেম্বর প্রতিষ্ঠিত হয়, এরপর থেকে তারা বিভিন্ন
জায়গায় ট্যুর দিয়ে থাকে এবং সামাজিক যে কাজ গুলো থাকে যেমন বর্ষকালে কালে বৃক্ষ রোপন এবং ঈদে ঈদ সামগ্রিক বিতারণ ও অসহায় ও পথশিশুদের মাঝে শিক্ষা উপকরণ বিতরণ এবং আরও নানা রকমের সামাজিক কাজ গুলো করে থাকে।
